The type of personal information we collect :

We currently collect and process the following information:

·         Parent/Guardian’s First Name, Last Name and Email and occasionally we may ask for your contact information as an emergency contact.

·         Pupil’s First Name, Last Name, Year and House (Form) and occasionally a Contact Number where required

·         In certain circumstances, we may ask for any relevant medical information pertaining to your daughter such as allergies or medicines.

 

How we get the personal information and why we have it:

All of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

·         To provide you with a receipt and your event ticket(s).

·         To enable us to contact you in the event of an emergency.

We use the information that you have given us in order to issue tickets.

 

We may share this information with:

·         Bournemouth School for Girls directly where necessary for the facilitation and safety of the event.

·         Any other venue directly associated with an event (such as the Vitality Stadium), but only as much data as is required to perform the duties of the venue.

·         Stripe.com [Name and Email Address Only] for the purposes of initiating payment.

 

Please note all payment details are processed directly by “stripe.com” and no card data is ever received or stored by bsg.events or BSG PSA.

 

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

·         By purchasing an event ticket, you have provided your consent.

·         It is necessary for our contractual relationship.

·         The processing may be necessary for us to comply with our legal and/or regulatory obligations

·        We have a legitimate interest in order that we may provide you with a service.

 

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored within UK Data Centres.

We keep all information provided by you for a maximum of 12 months after the event has finished.

We will then dispose of any attendee information and survey data collected at the point of sale.

Only the name and email address pertaining to the payment will be kept indefinitely.

 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
